Project Coordinated by Customer ServiceBridle Path Deck and Patio Cover Renovation
This outdoor living project in Bridle Path TX replaced an aging deck with a new 759 square foot Trex Lineage system. The upgrade improved safety, reduced maintenance, and enhanced long-term durability. The refreshed deck structure, landing, and skirting provide a cleaner, more functional space designed for the local climate.
Project Overview
The homeowner needed a full replacement of their existing outdoor deck, which had deteriorated due to age and regional weather conditions common in Central Texas. The original surface included old planters and pavers that restricted drainage and limited usability. The client wanted a modern, low-maintenance deck that would improve outdoor access while preventing animals from getting underneath the structure.
The project included removing the old features, installing proper weed barrier and gravel for drainage, rebuilding the structural framing, and installing a 700 square foot Trex Lineage deck system. A pre-planned 6x4 landing was included, and the design intentionally required no railing to preserve the open feel of the space.
Results
The completed deck provides a clean, modern outdoor living area with significantly improved durability and drainage. Trex composite materials reduced future maintenance needs, while the new frame and skirting increased overall stability and prevented pest access. The project delivered a safer, longer-lasting space ideal for year-round use in the Bridle Path climate.
